This project was created for the Open Day event at the École Supérieure d’Art de Lorraine (ESAL) in Metz. The objective was to develop a visual identity capable of attracting prospective students while communicating practical event information across both print and digital formats.
Open Day communication must balance visibility and clarity. The visual identity needed to stand out in public space while remaining accessible to a diverse audience, including future students, families and visitors unfamiliar with the institution.
I developed a visual language combining collage techniques, strong typography and animated assets. The composition was designed to create visual impact while guiding viewers toward essential information such as date, location and event details.
From that single composition I produced a full set of formats: the poster, an abribus (bus shelter) version, a kakemono banner, and an animated version for the website and social media. The campaign ran across the city of Metz and in train stations in neighbouring towns.
Rather than treating typography as a purely informational element, I used it as a navigational tool that structured the composition and directed attention throughout the design.
